Well known muscle car enthusiast, Funkmaster Flex, is the man that celebrities contact when they are building their hot rod. Proformance Unlimited will be flexing some muscle on one of Funkmaster's Chevy Malibu's. After Flex and Doug met at one of his car shows on June 28th in Raritan Center NJ, Flex invited Doug and Paul to see his private collection in the Bronx to discuss the build and installation of a 427 big block Chevy.

your shop for the 2 motors that you built for me
the 302 went in the 77 PINTO WAGON turning
consistent 11.98 with over 100- 1/4 mile runs
hot lapping you all did a great job on that one,
I know I am not the best customer to have but
you worked with me and still do when ever I call
someone is always there to listen and help, I
thank you for that,, You did such a great job I
went to the next stage and had you build a 418
stroker, short block and guided me with what it
was capable of doing and it does do it, got that
in the 88 mustang turning 10.88 in a 1/4 mile
and the same thing I take my time
between laps but that is a beast of a motor,,
you can attach pictures from my myspace both
racing and sitting. We do have another build
coming up the Elcamino which we have been
talking about just have to wait for the wife's
permission, THANK YOU I tell everyone I can

sure you got a few customers. We will be talking

I
wanted to drop you a line and tell you thanks
for all the help you and your team have been in
helping me select my engine and various other
parts, but more importantly, how well this
engine performs. This power plant has totally
transformed my sluggish Bronco into a muscle
truck that has caught more than one unsuspecting
hotrod by surprise. It’s backed by a built C-4
auto with Hurst
shifter,
and a 3500 stall from Transmission Specialties,
Out back is a nine inch with a Detroit locker,
and 31 spline chromoly shafts. The interior was
recently treated to a new dash with pieces from
Auto Meter and So Cal Speed Shop, and the
transfer case is shifted by a modified piece
from Lokar. Suspension includes all new springs,
bushings, brake lines, and drive shafts by Wild
Horses.
